The Seagrave Trust is looking for a highly motivated MEDICAL OFFICER to work as part of its team in HMP BELMARSH. You will be delivering detoxification as part of a multidisciplinary team in a challenging and rewarding environment.

£60,000 - £75,000

The Seagrave Trust provides safe, appropriate
detoxification for prisoners with drug dependencies
in HMP Belmarsh and HMP Woodhill. We offer
individualized evidence based treatment for prisoners
with drug dependencies, including alcohol related problems.
This post offers the opportunity for a Medical Practitioner
with two years’ experience relevant to Substance Misuse
to gain further experience in our Drug Misuse Unit at
HMP Belmarsh, Thamesmead, London SE.



The post holder will be working under the supervision
of our consultant psychiatrist Dr. Oscar D’Agnone.

Salary £60,000 - £75,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

The post is a full time locum position for one year, renewable for up to three years depending on performance.
